Magnesium Supplements

Magnesium is an essential element that plays a critical role in the solubility of calcium.  If the magnesium levels are low it may be difficult or impossible to maintain proper calcium concentrations.  Here at Salty Dog Coral we recommend keeping magnesium concentrations between 1320-1400ppm.  We recommend regular water testing to make sure that magnesium levels do not drop below an acceptable concentration.
